The 2024 launch of the Riyadh Season unification calendar combined Matchroom and Queensberry cards onto a shared DAZN slot in the UK. The Riyadh nights account for most of the year’s biggest fights. Sky Sports retains the legacy PPV channel for select main events. Channel 5 and BBC Sport carry occasional domestic and amateur cards.

DAZN UK

DAZN UK (£9.99/month or £99.99/year, with student and bundle discounts) is the home of Matchroom Boxing, Queensberry Promotions and the Riyadh Season unification series. Saturday cards run most weekends, typically with the main event between 10 PM and midnight local time.

Marquee PPV cards (Fury, Joshua, Usyk-level events) carry an additional one-off PPV fee on DAZN, usually £19.99 to £24.99 on top of the subscription.

Sky Sports Box Office

Sky retains a PPV slot for selected main events not running through DAZN. These are sold per-card to Sky customers (and previously Virgin) at typical prices of £20 to £25. The day-to-day Sky Sports channel does not carry routine boxing programming.

TNT Sports

TNT Sports carries select PPV main events (Eddie Hearn’s overflow when DAZN does not take the card) and the night of US boxing imports that previously aired on BT Sport. Routine TNT Sports boxing programming is light; most cards route through DAZN instead.

Channel 5

Channel 5 runs a free-to-air boxing strand (“Friday Night Fights” historically), plus occasional Saturday cards. Coverage is light on volume but free at point of use. Channel 5’s My5 streaming service replays cards on demand.

BBC Sport and BBC iPlayer

The BBC carries amateur boxing, GB Boxing showcases and the boxing portion of major multi-sport events (Olympics, Commonwealth Games). Routine professional boxing on the BBC is rare, though selected free-to-air title fights have appeared on iPlayer in recent years.

Tonight’s card

Saturday is fight night in the UK. The DAZN main event typically runs 10 PM to midnight local time. Sky and TNT PPVs run roughly the same window. Channel 5 cards are earlier, often 9 PM start.

Sunday morning carries the US results: if you missed a US-only DAZN or Sky card overnight, the replay sits on DAZN by mid-morning UK time.

Quick answers

  • Cheapest way to watch a Saturday card? DAZN at £9.99/month covers the bulk of the year’s biggest fights.
  • Where do I watch a Sky Sports PPV? Sky Sports Box Office, sold per card. Sky subscription not required to buy the PPV on its own.
  • Is there free boxing on UK TV? Yes: Channel 5 cards and occasional BBC iPlayer fights. Schedule is irregular.
  • Do I need both DAZN and Sky to follow boxing? No. DAZN alone covers most of the calendar. Add Sky Box Office only for specific PPV main events.
