CBS Sports holds the English-language US rights to the UEFA Champions League through 2030. Every live match in the 2025/26 season streams on Paramount+, with a handful of knockout windows also airing free on the CBS broadcast network.
Match nights are Tuesday and Wednesday for the league phase, with knockout rounds spreading across both nights. There are no Sunday UCL matches.
English-language coverage
Paramount+ Essential ($7.99/month with ads) carries every UCL match live. The Premium tier ($12.99/month, no ads) is identical for live UCL coverage; pick whichever fits your ad tolerance. Annual plans run $59.99 (Essential) and $119.99 (Premium).
A free trial is available for new subscribers, typically seven days. CBS Sports Golazo Network, the dedicated soccer linear channel, is included with Paramount+.
CBS (the broadcast network) carries select Champions League matches free-to-air across the knockout rounds and the final. Sign up only if your antenna pulls CBS cleanly or you have a virtual MVPD that includes it.
Spanish-language coverage
Univision and TUDN carry a parallel Spanish-language broadcast of every league phase and knockout match. TUDN is reachable via most pay-TV bundles, via the standalone TUDN.com app for authenticated subscribers, or through ViX Premium.
ViX Premium ($6.99/month) is TelevisaUnivision’s direct-to-consumer streamer and the lowest-cost route to TUDN if you do not want a full pay-TV bundle.
Schedule format
The UCL league phase replaces the old group stage from 2024/25 onward. Each of the 36 clubs plays eight matches in the league phase against eight different opponents (four home, four away). The top eight finishers advance directly to the round of 16; teams ranking 9 to 24 play a two-leg knockout playoff for the remaining round-of-16 places.
Match weeks run Tuesday and Wednesday. There is no Sunday or weekend UCL programming during the league phase.
Final coverage
The 2026 Champions League final is in Budapest at the Puskás Aréna on 30 May 2026. Paramount+ carries the live English-language broadcast; CBS will simulcast on the broadcast network. Univision and TUDN carry the Spanish-language broadcast.
